Just like I promised, I’m back with a recipe on Butter naan made without yeast.
All you need: –
1) 250 g of maida
2) A pinch of Baking soda (if no, add yeast)
3) Half a cup sour curd
4) Salt to taste
Procedures to follow:-
– Knead the above mixture to a dough
– Keep it aside for 3-4 hours covered with a sanitized clean muslin cloth.
– Divide the dough into small balls
– Lightly dust the dough balls with some flour
– Roll to small to medium sized Roti’s (flat breads) of medium thickness.
– Place it on a hot pan or a tawa
– When the bottom is partly flip and check for small bubbles on the naan.
– Same way cook the second side of the naan
– Remove the tawa and place the naan facing the fire
– The naan will puff up.
– Place it on a plate and spread some butter on top
– Serve it hot with any Paneer side dishes (Check my previous recipe on Paneer Makhanwala)
NOTE:- Better to consume when the naan is hot, else it becomes hard to chew.
